During Jasper County’s first participation in the Click It Or Ticket enforcement campaign, Deputy Dry stood out as our top performer in No Seat Belt citations issuing almost half of the total violations given during this wave period, averaging 5.1 violations per hour.
Deputy Dry grew up in Jasper, Texas, graduated from Jasper High School and pursued Law Enforcement by attending the East Texas Police Academy in Kilgore, Texas where he graduated top of his class. He was immediately hired by the Jasper Police Department where he served in patrol for 3 years. He left the Jasper Police Department in August 2015 to begin his career at the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office where he now serves in the patrol division, serving Jasper County citizens living in the County’s North District. Deputy Dry has been a Peace Officer for 4 years.
Deputy Dry has many law enforcement certifications. He is a certified Field Training Officer, Certified Breath Test Operator, and has numerous Impaired Driver Certifications.
We are very proud of young Deputies like Deputy Dry. Because of young performers like him, we are confident in a bright future for our agency.
